Post Graduate Research Student Conference 2024

The student conference takes place every two years and this will be the first opportunity to connect with fellow Post-graduate students to network, share good-practice, swap ideas and discover each other's research interests.

The next UHI Post-Graduate Research Conference will be the 23 & 24 January 2024, at UHI Orkney.

The event is open to all university post-graduate students, including those in the early stages of their research, have recently graduated or simply interested in developing their own research activity, and postgraduate (research) students. The gives students an active chance to:

Attend plenary presentations on regional, national and international 'hot' research issues
Showcase your research with presentations, poster presentations and interactive sessions
Learn about, and engage with, the university’s research clusters and Green Network
Receive updates on the latest research developments across the university in a unique island context
Network with and meet colleagues from across the university and beyond
Attend information and training workshops and sessions
Discover tools to help your research and research practices
This event has been designed in a hybrid format allowing staff and students to attend virtually, in person or a combination of both.
